Although commercial corn basis bids have strengthened considerably over the past six weeks to historically significant levels, the flat prices being bid to farmers may still not be compelling for many.
December corn is down 4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 2 1/4 cents, and September KC wheat is down 4 cents.
Limited direction is expected as traders return to the complex Thursday morning with market adjustments likely following active hog market support midweek. Mixed trade is likely through most of the morning.
